Q&A Session

At the end of March, our Mentorship Team organized a Q&A session on Zoom. This event was conceived by our team as an opportunity for discussion with international students on various issues, from bureaucracy to academic and daily life in Padua. The participants were invited to ask questions, share their doubts and curiosities. Apart from its informative nature, we wanted this event to be an opportunity for exchange and socialization too.

The session was facilitated by Marco, Margherita, Maryna, and Olivia of the Mentorship Team. Two students took part to it: an international student who had already participated to our first Ice Breaking evening, and a prospective student who found the event on our Instagram page. The first student wanted to know how to renew his residence permit after graduation; the second student wanted to get some information and advice on the Food and Wine Master. The first student, who had followed some classes of this Master, managed to share valuable information with the prospective student. Therefore, there was an active interaction among the members of our team and the students that favoured dialogue and mutual exchange. We then showed a nice presentation on life in Padua before the pandemic. At the end of the session we shared a PDF document we previously prepared with useful information on bureaucracy, university, and daily life in Padua. Therefore, this evening was also the occasion to have some talk together, know ourselves better, share our experiences and our feelings about the present.
